Who we are
PuttPush is a trading name of Push Pals Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales, company number 13137076.
Push Pals Ltd is the controller of the personal data in this notice. Write to us about it at [email protected].
If you asked us for a preview, booked a call or wrote to us
What we collect: what you put in our form or your message, such as your name, email address, phone number, business name and website address. If you came from one of our adverts, the form also records which advert, from the web address, without any cookie. When you book a call, the details you enter on our booking page.
What we do with it: build your homepage preview, send you the link, reply to you, and talk to you about building and looking after your website. To build the preview we use the public content of your current website, such as its text, logo and photos.
Our lawful basis: you asked us to take these steps before any contract (UK GDPR Article 6(1)(b)), together with our legitimate interest in replying to business enquiries (Article 6(1)(f)).
How long we keep it: up to 2 years after our last contact with you.
If we contacted you first
Your right to object comes first. You can tell us to stop at any time, for free. Reply "stop" to our email, use our opt-out page, or email [email protected]. All contact stops straight away.
What we hold: your business name, website address, business email address and phone number, registered address, the names of directors from Companies House, and the public content of your website.
Where it came from: Companies House, your business's Google Maps listing, and your own website.
Why: to show you a rebuilt version of your homepage, and to offer to build the full site.
Our lawful basis: legitimate interests (UK GDPR Article 6(1)(f)). Our interest is telling limited companies about a service that suits them. We weigh that against your interests, and we keep a written assessment of it. We email limited companies and limited liability partnerships only. We do not email sole traders or partnerships without their consent.
How we choose whom to contact: we score businesses on public signals, such as how dated their website looks. This is profiling. It sets the order in which we contact businesses, and nothing more. It has no legal or similar effect on you.
How we may contact you: by email, and sometimes by a follow-up call, text or printed letter. We check phone numbers against the Telephone Preference Service and the Corporate Telephone Preference Service before we call.
How long we keep it:
- Your preview is deleted 7 days after our first email.
- If you don't reply, your details are deleted 12 months after our last contact.
- If you opt out, we delete your preview and your details, and keep only your email address and website domain on a do-not-contact list for as long as we run outreach, so you stay off future lists.
If you become a customer
We use your details to perform our contract with you (Article 6(1)(b)): to build, host and look after your website, and to take payment. Payments go through Stripe, on Stripe's own page. We never see or store your card details.
We keep customer and financial records for 6 years, because tax law requires it.
Your preview page
When your preview is opened, our server records the date and time, and whether the visit came from our email or our letter. Nothing is stored on your device, and we do not track how long you stay or where you click.
